Reviving World Heritage

Welcome to the Reviving World Herítage (RWH) Project where you can start on an expedition to go in quest of and revive your heritage and predict the future.
Heritage is our legacy from the past, what we live with today, and what we pass on to future generations

From September 2010 to March 2011 studenst from Bahrain, Denmark, Egypt, Jordan, Libanon, Oman, Palestine, Sudan and Syria were busy bringing their cultural, natural and intangible heritage alive through words, pictures and videoes. You can see the results of the work on www.comfu.org.
In March 2011 delegations from each of the participating countries met at a youth conference in Youthtown where they focused on the importance of world heritage and international cooperation and understanding.
See the programme of the week, watch a video presenting the students working together or/and read the project report.

What if learning was about knowledge and also about doing, being, interacting with others and changing the world?

What if formal learning was enjoyable, hands-on and relevant to life outside school while addressing the problems of our world?

What if education systems prepared learners to become responsible citizens, recognize and solve local problems...

Then we would be educating for a more sustainable future
